Each Helping Hand season reminds us just how generous Henry County truly is. Churches, businesses, and communities come together year after year to give their time, creativity, and resources, all for one purpose: supporting local organizations that serve our neighbors.

During the 2025 Helping Hand Radio Auction, that generosity reached an incredible milestone.

According to a report by the Paris Post-Intelligencer, this year’s auction raised $507,425, with $492,400 distributed to 77 local nonprofit organizations across Henry County during the annual Helping Hand meeting held April 14 at the Krider Performing Arts Center.

As shared in the Post-Intelligencer article, the meeting recognized the groups that raised the most funds during the 2025 auction. While every group plays an important role, we want to take a moment to celebrate the top 10 donor groups whose efforts made a remarkable impact this year.

A Community Effort Worth Celebrating

As noted in the Paris Post-Intelligencer, all 77 funded organizations were present to receive their checks, a powerful reminder that Helping Hand is not just an event, but a shared commitment to meeting local needs.

Behind every dollar raised are countless volunteer hours, donated items, friendly competition, answered phone calls, and a deep sense of pride in caring for our community. These groups represent the heart of Helping Hand and the reason this tradition continues to thrive.

We are grateful to every donor, volunteer, bidder, sponsor, and group who participated in the 2025 auction. Your generosity ensures that help stays local and that Henry County organizations can continue serving those who need it most.
